International shipments, including those to Canada, require the name of the recipient's broker to expedite delivery to the addressee.
Computer equipment shipments need to be planned four to six weeks ahead of time to allow time for Customs registration, actual shipping time, and export licenses, if applicable.
Live or perishable goods must be clearly labeled as such, and shipping instructions must note the life span.
